Style Battle made its promotional debut with a tremendous event that featured solid action from top to bottom in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday night.

In a surprising result, Dave Crist took home the S1:E1 tournament championship, beating AR Fox in a dramatic match in the finals.

Crist won the first bout of the evening, outlasting Darby Allin in a brutal match that saw Allin bleeding from the mouth by the end of the match.

Blood from the mouth was a factor in the second bout of the tournament. Dezmond Xavier landed an Erratic Static on Sammy Guevara midway through their match, drawing blood from the young competitor's mouth.

Guevara came back strong, but Xavier was able to get the finish and move on to meet Crist in the semifinals.

AR Fox clashed with Austin Theory next in a battle of student versus teacher. Fox showcased his usual aerial attack, connecting with near-impossible precision on flying moves while Theory came back with power and his own surprising ability to fly.

Fox was able to emerge with the victory and quickly reminded fans he won the first ever Style Battle tournament held before the official launch of the promotion.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the first-round showdown between Fred Yehi and Anthony Henry. The two men battled back and forth for 30 minutes, trading holds, suplexes, forearms, elbows, and kicks, with neither man taking over the action before the bout ended in a time-limit draw.

The draw automatically advanced Fox to the finals.

Crist pulled off a relatively quick win over Xavier in the lone semifinal bout. The match had hardly started when Crist pulled off a Snow Plow for the quick pin.

Jason Kincaid pulled off a win in the 13-man Fray match. Two men began the match with another joining the action every 60 seconds. Kincaid entered the match in the No. 10 slot and picked up several eliminations before emerging with the victory.

In the main event, Fox and Crist went toe-to-toe before the OI4K (Ohio Is 4 Killers) member scored the pinfall. All members of the tournament came to ringside to congratulate Crist on his victory.
