Style Battle Recap: A Night Of Hard-Hitting Action
For the third time in the promotion's inaugural season, Style Battle held an eight-man, one-night tournament on Sunday in Ybor City, Florida. The show featured quality wrestling action from top to bottom before Jon Davis emerged as the third man to take home the tournament championship.

Davis, a previous winner of a Style Battle tournament prior to the formation of the promotion, was matched up with James Drake in the first round. The two big men threw down in a violent match featuring plenty of big throws and major striking exchanges. Through three shows in Style Battle's history, it stands with Fred Yehi versus Anthony Henry from Episode One as one of the truly great matches the promotion has featured.

Davis came out on top and moved on to a very dangerous bout with Parrow, who blasted through Jon Cruz in the opening round.

Parrow has been near perfect in WWN competition, and the massive man threw everything he could at Davis in the early stages of the round. Davis' toughness allowed him to survive the early onslaught before finally taking over the action and tossing around the behemoth to score the win.

On the other side of the bracket, Jason Cade made a solid run to the finals by picking up a win over Kyle Matthews in the opening round and then getting the shocking win over Martin Stone in the semifinals.

Stone met Anthony Henry in the first round in what turned out to be a fantastic match. The two men meshed well with Stone surviving the relentless onslaught from Henry, who was competing in his third straight tournament.

Unfortunately for Henry, he came up short once again with Stone gutting out the victory.

In the finals, Cade and Davis put on a show for the fans, scoring near fall after near fall.

Cade got the jump early, drilling Davis with a few chairshots before the match actually began. It took time for Davis to recover and to figure out how to deal with Cade's incredible quickness and willingness to dive every chance he got. But once he did, he swung momentum back in his favor before scoring the win and taking the tournament victory.

Along with winning the tournament, Davis locked himself into a spot to compete for the first ever WWN Championship at the WWN Supershow.
