ACW Regular Wayne VanDyke Passes Away At 29
Wayne VanDyke -- known as Richard Delicious on the independent wrestling scene -- has died at age 29.

VanDyke was a regular on the Florida independent scene and was a staple of WWN promotion ACW. He was a former ACW light heavyweight champion and two-time cruiserweight champion.

He suffered a heart attack during a recent match in Florida and two more while hospitalized before being placed in a medically induced coma. WWN officials recently announced they would be donating profits from the FIP and Style Battle events later this month to aid with his medical expenses.

"In addition to wrestling for ACW, Wayne is an invaluable part of the WWN crew," the press release earlier this week stated about VanDyke's contributions to the WWN product. "He has spent countless hours on the road, working the thankless jobs for EVOLVE, SHINE and FIP as part of our crew. He is an important part in making all these events happen."

FloSlam extends our best wishes to VanDyke's family and will provide any further details about donations as they are made available.
