Interesting Pairings Set For Tag Title Shots At EVOLVE 90 & 91
The champs were scheduled for this weekend's EVOLVE 90 and 91 events, but they did not have opponents lined up -- until now.
Tracy Williams has had his career rolling the right way since making Stokely Hathaway the manager of Catch Point. Prior to that decision, Williams' time as the leader of Catch Point was marred by mixed success and infighting.
He has been given the opportunity to pick a partner to challenge for the tag straps at EVOLVE 90 and picked Rory Gulak, the brother of former Catch Point founder and current WWE superstar Drew Gulak. It's an interesting pairing, but one has to believe there's a reason for every decision Williams and Hathaway make.
At Saturday's EVOLVE 91, Fred Yehi will be the man with the opportunity to choose a partner and challenge for the belts, and he's going with the surprising pick of Jason Kincaid. Yehi was spurred to this selection, according to WWN officials, by this video from Kincaid:
Yehi and Kincaid share one trait: confounding ring styles.
It's going to be a wild weekend for the champions, and they're going to have to survive a pair of difficult challenges to make it out of the East Coast with the belts.
