When SHINE launched in 2012 as a Florida-based sister promotion to SHIMMER. It has since become WWN's premier women's promotion and features most of the top female talent in independent wrestling.

The first ever SHINE Champion was crowned when Rain won an eight-woman, one-night tournament at SHINE 11 on July 12, 2013. Rain defeated Mia Yim in the tournament finals after getting past two of the toughest women in the sport in LuFisto and Jessicka Havok.

The current titleholder is Ivelisse. The Lucha Underground star is on her second title reign. She won the title at SHINE 35, winning a four-way bout with SHIMMER champ Madison Eagles, TNA Knockouts champ Allysin Kay and then SHINE champ Taylor Made. The loser of the match lost her title and Ivelisse scored the win over Taylor Made.

SHINE also features a tag team championship. Raquel and Santana Garrett won the titles at SHINE 39, topping Better Than You (Jayme Jameson and Marti Belle) to end a title reign that lasted more than 370 days.

The promotion does not shy away from violence, especially when Su Yung, Jessicka Havok (seen below driving Yung into a pile of chairs) and Saraya Knight are involved.
