No More Neville?

From King of the Cruiserweights to King of the Indies? That may well be the situation as rumors are mounting that former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and former NXT Champion Neville is on his way out of WWE.

Sources have claimed Neville is requesting his release from the promotion and walked out prior to WWE Raw, where he was supposed to face Enzo Amore. Instead, Amore was put into a Lumberjack Match with Kalisto, where Kalisto captured the 205-pound title.

According to Dave Meltzer, Kalisto and Amore were not scheduled to clash until the TLC pay-per-view on Oct. 28, but Neville walking out forced the promotion's hand in moving that timeline up.

There's a legitimate case to be made for Neville as the best performer in WWE during 2017. He single-handedly held up the cruiserweight division, stabilizing a struggling roster while putting on a string of outstanding matches.

It's unclear where his current frustration stems from, but as of now WWE has denied he has quit the company.
